Saxum Hosting, a business unit of Asterisco Amarelo Lda, VAT no. 517462001, headquartered in Leiria, Portugal, provides all services under Portuguese, European, and applicable international law.

1. Nature of Services
The services provided by Saxum Hosting include, but are not limited to: web hosting, domain name registration and management, SSL certificate provisioning, virtual and dedicated server management, technical support, e-mail management, and complementary digital security solutions. As these are digital and customized services, they are not subject to the same refund rules applicable to tangible goods.

2. Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with Portuguese Decree-Law no. 24/2014 (transposing Directive 2011/83/EU), consumers are entitled to a 14-day withdrawal period, provided that the service has not been fully performed or activated with the client’s express consent.
If the client requests immediate activation of the service before the 14-day period ends, they expressly agree to waive the right of withdrawal.

3. Exclusions from Refunds
Refunds or reversals will not apply in the following cases:

• Domain name registrations, renewals, or transfers, which involve third-party registries and are irrevocable.

• Services already activated, configured, or partially or fully delivered at the client’s request.

• Digital services purchased under non-refundable promotional campaigns.

4. Cancellation Procedure
The client must submit cancellation requests in writing through Saxum Hosting’s official communication channels, clearly identifying the service in question. Each request will be reviewed in compliance with applicable law.

5. Refunds and Deductions
Where partial refunds apply, Saxum Hosting reserves the right to deduct:

• Administrative costs already incurred.

• Pro-rata fees corresponding to the time the service was used.

• Third-party charges that are non-refundable.
